Sorry Royce...I have to question her powers of reason, I didn't say she was an idiot although I am beginning to wonder, when she decided to climb Mt. Adams and continue on to the summit of Mount Washington...alone...in these conditions...the forecast was no secret. Yes, the Whites, and particularly the Presidential's might be good training for ascents in other locales, but I doubt people make those climbs alone, or begin the trip with the forecast she had access to
assuming those were her plans as reported by NH Fish and Game. I can only assume they got that info from her husband.

FTR the record, "idiot" was my catchall word and not meant to be attributed to you.  No doubt, a lot of bad decisions or at the very least very risky decisions made by her and/or the husband.  We can agree on that.

Plenty, if you don't mind driving 20-30 minutes.  How much you wanna spend?

Tell me more about this peanut butter you speak of.

...and FTR the only reason I posted the dailymail link was because it noted her education/job background...not someone with reduced mental abilities...yet capable of such a decision. That boggles my mind.

I don't give a make the beast with two backs if someone wants to pay too much for too little space in Manhattan. ;D

Any recommendations for places to eat while in Bridgewater, NJ? I'll be up there a week from Monday.

Pluckemin Inn

Delicious Heights

(two upscale options, but if the company's paying for it....)
90 Acres:

Bernards Inns:

I've been to all except Delicious Heights, which was my sister's suggestion (she lives in that area).  If you're just looking for simple, Bridgewater has tons of chain restaurants like Red Lobster, Appleby's, etc. which are pretty easy to find.

I thought the old one was a frozen Irish Wolfhound.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

That is kinda what it looked like!

Back to the landfill tomorrow. LONG day - hour to get there, half hour to set up - 5 hours of teaching. Lunch then 5 more hours of teaching, then the drive home.

the_Journeyman

Supposed to get more snow tonight, optional teacher workday tomorrow.  I'll likely be one of the few that show up.  Definitely tossing the cameras in the truck in case I find more interesting stuff from the snow.

I guess its the Donkey & the Ass I cant tell apart. The Frozen Wolfhound does look quite a bit different from the Keebler Elf you have going there.
