Can't keep anything considered livestock here.  City ordinance.

Know a good alternative?  I'm not opposed to other stuff.  I've got this weed that is impossible to deal with that I've been using it on.  It's a broad leafed runner that takes over the world around here.

JM
Probably Kudzu...it's nasty. Google it.

There are ways...black plastic mulch is effective...as are organic mulches...or goats. I bet the boy would like a couple of those as pets.

I'm not a fan of chemical methods.

It's not kudzu, the leaves are anywhere from the size of a dime to a quarter and branch off these runners that can run several feet through the grass.  If you careful and get a big one, you can keep pulling it for several feet.  It's hard to kill because every few inches it starts new roots so when you pull some, anything left behind just keeps on.  I do a lot of manual work on it, but it's impossible.  We can't have goats in town here, considered livestock.  I do have some black fabric down to keep it out of flowerbeds and such.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

That's me! One tool in the box.

Cut it up, burn the pieces, scatter the ashes.

They put me on jobs they wanted done quick at ye olde satellite shoppe.

OK, maybe not the best solution for problems with multi-million dollar satellites. :-\

If something is wrong with them, don't they just burn up on re-entry, destroying all the evidence on their own?

Don't try it on blackberries...

unless you want a lifelong task.

Depends what's wrong with them. At the end of life we just send them off into deep space.

Sometimes, the pointy end doesn't go up.

That was before my time.

Sad that people died...

Whole new meaning to bad day at the office.

I was thinking back to all the early NASA test launch footage...

This was a little more dramatic... :-\

This is less horrific, but from the perspective I would normally have.

It goes up...starts to fail and now you're just...waiting to see where it goes.

I'm happy to not be doing it anymore.
