Thinking today would be a good day to skip the coffee and go right to the hard stuff.

Long day with board of directors and a condescending irrational hypocritical boss (validated by many others).

I'm trying to sort out not only what's best for me (a bit of autonomy, health insurance, company car and some fun work trips).  Is all that worth the mental frustration, condescension and being a whipping post when I'm a solid rain maker? (rhetorical question).

In a few days I'll know if I'm going to buy a new (to me) mtn bike or a fall cycling trip to europe (or neither since I saw an odd puddle of water on the bathroom floor this morning).    No Duc. Yet.

Having to deal with someone who if they would have  been a Drama Major probably would have graduated Magna Cum Laude instead of dropping out.

Lazy customer service reps or really a difficult to fix glitch?...

Returned some excess stuff and a broken tool to Advance Auto Parts the other day...  always great service in the store...  online ordering is always great... 

Returns went smooth...  checked credit card activity today...  returns from one receipt credited back twice, from the other receipt 7 times!  What should have been a @ $13 credit ended up being $40 & change.

Called to get this straightened out...  response was “not sure how that happened, not sure how to fix that.  I'm sure we will make that back on future purchases. Have a nice day!”

I do feel guilty about being refunded too much.  If it were a small, independent shop it would probably be easier to fix the problem.

With the fleet of $1.00 cars, I'm sure I will have opportunity offset their losses on this.

You did your part, they refunded you in excess and you contacted them to give it back.
If they can't figure out how to get it done, it's not on you.
And yes, definitely, a smaller biz would likely have folks that would get it done, or go find out how.
