Morning all. I hurt my right leg and can barley walk. Getting up and down the 18 stairs is actually easier than hobbling around the house.

I strained my knee a couple of weeks ago, and it was feeling better, then yesterday I kinda tripped on a heaved up part of the sidewalk. Pain shot up my whole right leg. Frances was scared of the cries I was making. We mad it home and I have mostly laid on the bed or couch. I think I hyperextended my knee and then yesterday tore something. RICE for me - rest, ice, compression and elevate.

I texted Lindsey to see if she can pick me up cane. My new health insurance kicks in in May.

On the plus side, I was able to make coffee and get to the couch without spilling it!

Good morning all. Yes, I need to see a doctor. My new insurance kicks in on May 1.  It is feeling better. I can get around the  house, up and down the 18 stairs to take the dog out. Lindsey dropped off a cane. It is most helpful in the bathroom. I'm only taking Ibuprofen and it is working.

My orthopedic doc way back when I lived in Oakland, CA was the doc for the UC Berkeley basketball team. He wrote in my chart that I had loosey-goosey joints. I have a brace on the way, and that will help.

Make the appointment. No way you'll get in before May 1, unless you go to the e-room, and it doesn't sound like you need that.
