This does bring up a question tho.  Why were you taking a chain that sharp off?    ;D

My chain saw had sat in the barn for quite some time without use until this winter.

I used it to harvest some dead standing stuff this winter and then threw it in the barn. I grabbed it yesterday to trim some stuff off the apple tree and found the saw lying in a pool of bar oil. After I used it I pulled the cover to see if I could find a leak. I decided to not leave well enough alone and went deeper...in more ways than one. ;D

The saw had had a pump problem at one time and I had it 'repaired', but chain saw Charlie was the kind of guy that if it oiled it was good...if it oiled more it was better.
It makes a mess. If what I did yesterday doesn't fix it I'll get a new pump and install it and see if that helps.

[It's tough to gauge if the amount of oil it puts out is normal because of the temps...I'm used to below freezing while using a saw.]

Gotcha   [thumbsup]  Usually the only chains I take off are the ones I've tried to sharpen too often,

Boredom is a dangerous thing for me. I'm considering joining a roller derby team.  [evil]

Hey Neenja, this is a roller derby club that was started by some friends in my home town.
