Morning.  I have been bouncing around the internet for an hour or so.  It is getting to be like TV.  Lots there, and none of it worth my time.

it's not working. too bad i cant' stand the taste of coffee and the tea that's available tastes like gross.


i got an hr of sleep last night because i'm a jackass. and now i'm paying for it so i guess i can't complain about it.

Ive done a couple of roofs/ceilings similar to that.  We used tongue and grove 2 x 6 over the 4 x 12 beams then screwed 4" thick structural insulated panels.  The insulated sheathing is 3.5" of foam with 1/2" OSB bonded to it.  Normal slate roof on top.

Came out nice!

Up here they build a box on the 2x6 t&g deck and use 8" of insulation. We need more r value.

It just doesn't look like that house had anything like that from what I could see.
