It's just cold here. The snow is a bit north of us.

I say a bit, because nowhere is very far in NH....takes forever to get there though. [laugh]

Not much...

spinning my wheels this week.

same here...

Good news, I got offered a job at one of the preschools I have as a client...
Bad news is, it only pays $11.00/hr to start.

At least there's health/dental/medical insurance after 3 months

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

I'm hunting me a summer job.  I split my 10-month teacher salary over 12, but it's really nice to have some extra income for a part time gig.  I've checked with all the local resorts for valet & shuttle bus drivers, but nobody seems to want an old school bus driver ~

How about kitchen help?

Doesn't pay great, but it can be fun if you have the right mindset.

I've done foodservice, and I just don't really enjoy it.  Now, I have looked into bartending at some of the resorts, but most want a certified bartender around here.  Granted, we're talking the Grove Park Inn, Biltmore Estate, and country clubs that are hiring currently ~

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Yea, I do know about all that, but I'm just not certified.  I'll keep looking, there's always odds & ends around it seems.

Night all, off to play on the Wii!

I went to my eye docs today and found out that he dropped my insurance company.  It was crap, but better then nothing.   I needed a second pair of glasses with my newest prescription.  I have 2 very old frames that are cracking and will not tolerate new lenses.

I got a new frame, prescription lenses, tint, etc. for 25% off.  I am glad that they worked with me on it.
