Speaking of flooding... Browsing pics of the damage from the Queensland flooding. Horrible devastation.

Have to admit, tho. This one made me giggle:

Buckethead,

At least in Australia they're organized and it could have been worst ... Here, we have no plan, when something happens, then we 'make' a plan, for future instances ... Some places here in the capital district, have had no water for 34 days ... and the ones that had some water, 7 days of no water or 'not fit for humans' ... I give bottled or boiled water to my puppies ...
But, also here, people are worried about their cars and bikes ... washing cars and bikes in such a crisis?
I would assume, please ungehuer correct me, that down under right now, more people are concerned with saving as many kangaroos and koalas and other wildlife than washing teir Ducatis or Suzukis or going for a ride on the Outback ... Sure, you have people that only think about themselves, everywhere ....

AfterNing, Friends.

Condolences, Mr. Max.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Evening.  4-10 inches of snow predicted for the area.  Wal-Mart was a very unpleasant place to go.  I did find the black HotWheels 1098.  Bought two, one to collect and one to play with [laugh]  Now, if I can find a red one, I'll have the three of them!

[RANT]
People must think having chains on their 4WD makes them look tough or something.  Keep in mind most of the roads, especially the ones you get to and from Wal-Mart on are not just clear, but dry too.  There was a guy driving around the parking lot in his truck, with chains on the rear wheels.  Way to put excessive wear on your chains and truck.

The reason I was fighting the crowd at Wal-Mart in the first place:

Not to mention the road!

I don't even use 4wd unless I can't get moving from a stop in a timely fashion.

Is a ham roast that's been in my fridge for two weeks still ok to eat?  It smells and looks just fine.

This method had not let me down in the past.

The wife is not down with this at all [laugh]

Bad advice ----->  Isn't the ham cured?  All that salt should do something to prevent unwanted growth?

Good advice --------> Go with the wife on this one.  Unless you need a good cleansing.

To top JM's bad driver sighting...

Ambulance in the ditch.  (Did not have camera with me, and not going back to take pics.)

Hot Chocolate,  [popcorn]  & Netflix streaming are the plan.

Not that yummy if you still got it.
