If I had a really fast bike I'd be happiest if the ass were ugly. The uglier the better because I'd want to torment the make the beast with two backsers that can't keep up and had to look at it.

What do you guys think a stock 999 shock and forks should bring on the open market?

Are there any bikes these things bolt onto?

The forks bolt on to my bike.

Not sure about the shock.

No idea about value.

I think I'd keep the parts, put them on the bike when you're ready to sell, and sell off the a/m stuff separately.

The forks are good for a SBK fork swap, they're a pretty nice upgrade from stock. You have to bore/shim the triples, but it's not a big deal.

Sold a pair a couple of years ago for $300.

Dunno about the shock.
