Don't be afraid of the Continentals.  I've got a set of their touring tires on my M750 and they do just fine, even keeping up with aggressive group rides.  They have a similar (at least the ContiMotions) profile to the Diablo.

I've only moved 3 times

From my parent's house to my 1st apartment
From that apartment to a small house we rented
From the rental house to the house I own

Was at my parent's house for 19 years, the apartment for about 6 months, the rental house for about a year and here for a bit over 16 years now.
