there should be some sort of rule that limits the amount of craziness any one person has to deal with on a monday.  But there isn't, so i'll quit my whining (whinging) and run off in search of more coffee.

And for you...
Less whining.  More Wining.

Evening all ...

Heavy heavy work day ... between my regular job and 'my shop' after a week of 'vacationing' in Miami, trying to convince my grandmother to move with me to Panama to no avail, that is no vacation ...

Plus today was a good day for Gina, I got the Oberon levers, SSR reservoir caps and Aluminium Double Sided Swing arm ... Shall be receiving soon Oberon clutch slave, 14/48T and new chain as well as a Givi front fairing and a set of T-Rex racing front and rear stands and frame sliders ... All these goodies, except the ADSS, came from MonsterParts and JeffH's advice; have also purchased a front axle tool and triple nut tool and front sprocket plate from DT ...

Wife has given "GO' to purchase of bike lift to install in garage ...

Apart from all that, the bad news is, got a new boss ....

Uh.  Trying to rationalize with a 13 y/o boy the benefits of wearing a helmet when riding a bike.
It doesn't work so well.

Shocked that my sister and BIL don't have the "no helmet/no ride" rule since they're so safety
conscious with everything else... (boating, fishing, dirt biking = life vests and helmets)...

This meddling aunt said what she thought.  Now I have to shut up.     Roll Eyes

Introduce him to Randimus, and tell him that is what happens when you don't wear a helmet when you are young.  Grin

The other side of this...

Did you wear a helmet when you were 13?

Dude, I think we determined that I'm older than you are.  And you know "they" didn't invent helmets when we were that age.  Besides, I was busy riding horses.  And we had helmets.  Rather...uh, cowboy hats.

And I only got kicked in the noggin...wonce.
