Pretty much business as usual.

We don't actively work while stuff is falling from the sky...too dangerous to be on ladders and staging. I'll go out in a while and button up my electrical service.

We'll pick it up again when it stops.

It's only a huge deal to me.

I understand people making mistakes, and the biggest mistake was me trusting that someone else wouldn't make their mistake...if that makes any sense.

It could be fixed...if I want to wait a month.

The getting over and living with won't cost me any additional money or time, and most likely will never be noticed by most. The supplier is bending over backwards to work this out with me so in that respect I'm pleased. I called when the driver was in my yard and dropped the f bomb so vociferously and frequently on the phone everyone on site became sheepish. The recipient and his boss showed up within a matter of an hour or so to work things out.
I'm admittedly kind of grumpy, but I rarely lose my temper like that. I apologized for my out burst. They understood.

It's a code issue...of which we have no enforcement in my town...that is so minuscule it's silly. The product delivered, and ordered in error, cost me a few hundred more, but was actually what I wanted. They fit in the same rough opening. The only reason to choose the other was this code issue.

The deviation is so small no one will notice or be able to measure, and I doubt will take the time to look up.

correct...my concern was for future ramifications...resale.

It's the upstairs bedroom windows.

They miss meeting egress code by .xxx sq feet. They meet/exceed code for a window on the first floor. There is no issue getting out...or in...in the event of an emergency.

The reason I was pissed was we spent days trying to get everything just right. I don't mind spending energy...but at least put the expenditure to good use.

when you paying a bunch of money to put something together, it's not wrong expect things to be done right.
Mistakes are acceptable from favors but not paid work.
is the assumption that larger people tend to be upstairs?
