it was a random roadtrip for me, i didnt intend to go that far north, but once i started up that way, i just kept going. i ended up in astoria, which is where the movie goonies was filmed. i got to see mikey's house :) ..yes, im 39 going on 8, but that's ok :)

if you do end up there, if she likes animals, up 101 in a town called bandon, there is a really cool animal safari place. http://www.gameparksafari.com i went up there for new years & got to play with baby lions & baby leopards and the time before when i was there they had baby tigers.. but it's not one of those tragic roadside places where the animals dont look like they are taken care of. all of them seem to be healthy & happy. it's actually way better facilities than my local zoo.

Less worried about the ice cube than a random patch of ice.  When I hit a patch of ice I tend to stay upright much longer on 4 wheels as apposed to 2 wheels!!!
