I use a french press (thanks again somegirl!) most days and the others I use the coffee maker. For the one cup in the afternoon I use a melita cone over the cup.

My disaster kit is coffee, brandy, dog food & meds, plus socks and games.

I brew it right before I leave the house.  Saw when I was pouring how "tan" it looked.

Had to go.  Had to drink it.

:P

I mailed out a book to you yesterday. It covers the dog part of disaster kits.

I realize it's not Friday but I think an 85 in CHEMISTRY calls for a little of:

Thanks Stella!   I could've gotten into the low 90's, but a couple of bone-headed mistakes cost me..  :(

While writing the formula for mixing calcium hydroxide with hydrochloric acid, I wrote down the atomic symbol for sodium instead.  [bang]

Calcium = Ca    Sodium = Na

So, I wrote everything out and balanced the equation 100% correct for sodium...

The note from the teacher said, "Your equation is written and balanced exactly as it should be for Sodium Hydroxide and Hydrochloric Acid..."

When I asked her why there was a big red -5 next to the problem, she just pointed to the test where she had underlined "Calcium"...   :P

I'll take an 85 anyday...  It coulda been much worse!  ;)

It's only 9 protons away from being the same thing. It's not like Ca and Na have totally different properties....
