Sounds like a good day to play Sparky
I wish I had time to burn stuff... :P

I was thinking electrical Sparky...
I could go buy some materials...pull the entrance cable and install the panel.

I kinda want to get the plumbing and mechanicals done first.

I'm doing the mechanicals, but I don't know when the plumber has it scheduled.

it's looking good, but still a lot of work to do
so much tree damage from the october storm

we borrowed a chainsaw and mike had all the fun while i moved the cut limbs
it's so much fun living in the forest,
i'm ready for my beach house..

and how come i get ticks and mike doesn't?  ???

Because you're sweet

that's what mike said... but i'd still like to know the REAL reason

oh, yesterday morning i was outside admiring the new front door, and a fox ran right by me
we are talking within 10 ft of me

after he passed by me, he stopped and turned around to look
we were both terrified  [laugh]

he took off at a much faster pace  [laugh]

So did I.  ;)

We'll do our out for lunch and shopping thing.

The bid on that job is more important than you think. It could mark the beginning of the end of your exposure to the dickhead. ;D

i know the bid is important. i used to do a lot of work with this company at my last job, so i am familiar with the type of work, and the client. they are incredibly needy - and i will budget that into my bid. if i win the bid, it's going to be a rough couple of weeks working 2 jobs when i already work 10 hour days.

i'd need 15 or more projects like this one per year to make what i make now - or a ton of "smaller" jobs

If you work from home you may not 'need' to make as much  right away.

Your commuting costs would be eliminated, and that has to be a fair chunk of change with gas at $4. You'd also have less maintenance on the car.

You can do it Nicky... ;D
