But its like riding on a rush hour tram.  Theres no place to sit down.
I rarely get to sit on the 996 either... :P

This whole subject is just me thinking out loud.

I need to finish my house.

I can't afford to get hurt.

I ride like an idiot, and crash almost every season. I've been very lucky in that I haven't been seriously hurt.

My gear is tired and I can't afford new stuff right now.

I started out 11 seasons ago riding the monster on the track. I set a goal for myself to always improve, and I did. I was pretty stoked with the gains I made last year.

I just think that if equipment is causing problems I should just wait until that is no longer an issue...or find a sport I can more easily afford.

Being responsible sure is a pita.   I can still hear my parents voices in my ear when I go out to play ("did you get all your work done....you can't go out to play until its all done....did you dust the top of the refrigerator...clean all the stalls....whitewash the fence...unload the 20 50# bags of grain...")

And my mom wonders why I moved out of state.    ;)

Ning. Dogs are walked, had their chow, and are now playing. Their ropes have a million deaths.  [laugh]

Rocky is 10 years old and now he is playing like I have never seen. We got him almost 2 years ago so we never saw that phase with him.

dp if I ever win the lotto (if I ever buy a ticket!) you are on my list of those to splurge on!
