Remember, you have to watch out for those Canadians.  Kidding.   But do be careful out there.

Definitely be careful. One cannot trust a country that lies about its bacon.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Thanks, I did much better once I got to Fish Creek Park and did some trail riding.  Strange for a city that promotes itself as having one of the best bike networks in Canada, I have yet to find any bike lanes.

Mornin' folks!

Well, the car search turned up a nice '08 Impala.  Impalas are a bit hard to find locally.  So...  We hammered out a deal on a red on that another dealer had.  By the time I had signed all the paperwork, traded in the fiancée's car (instead of the Taurus, we felt it was more prudent for her to to replace a car I was unsure about that already had 91,000 miles & and unsure mechanical history when she bought it) we were expecting a call today to make the swap....

Que Murphy and his law...

Got a call last night about 8:30.  Oops, by the time we got everything done, the dealer that had the car, which I purchased, which has its VIN and my name on all the paperwork here, is sold.  Seems the two dealers didn't communicate so well on us buying the car.  Now, they can't find anything but a demo with 4,000 miles that fits into the numbers we hammered out yesterday.

Now what  [bang]

morning...

If you gave them any money I'd tell the dealer you want your car...

or a comparably equipped new car for the same price.

Pretty sure they signed a contract...as did you.

Would they give you your deposit back if you changed your mind after they went and picked up the car from the other dealer?

Yea, my fiancée and I have already decided the demo is a used car our eyes, not to mention the color sucks.  I'll add I've already paid them (via credit card) the transfer fee for the car the other dealer sold while we worked out our deal.  We're just waiting on the guy to call us this morning (he's got until 9:30) as he was supposed to call me back last night to begin with.  The problem at the moment, is they can't find a car equipped like the one we chose, nor for the same price.
