So I sent in my OOO notice stating a family emergency.

Funny part is, the guy covering for me works his last day tomorrow and is leaving for the same reasons as me.

I think after I read a couple more chapters in my book, I may go explore me some rural cemeteries today.

having some issues with dogs here . . . out of nowhere, both of them have slight fungal infections . . .

SPEAKING OF BACON....I posted about this on my Book of Face account the other night, but I felt it worthy of sharing at this juncture...

We went to the grocery store to do shopping, and saw there were no fresh brussel sprouts. So on a lark we picked up frozen to try them. We nromally cook the sprouts with bacon and it makes for a great dish. Well, the frozen didn't work so well. They were mushy and didn't pick up any of the bacony flavor that would normally impart iself. After dinner and so forth, there is still the floppy fatty bacon sitting in the warm pan with brussel sprout juices, and I decide to fire the pan and crisp up the bacon for eating. You can't let perfectly good bacon go to waste afterall. After crisping it up and letting it dry on a paper towel, it came time to eat. Wouldn't you know it, the bacon was brussel sprout flavored, and the imparting of flavor worked in reverse. I then had this grand idea for conquering the vegetarians of the world, by imparting vegetable flavors into bacon for the herbivore's to be lured in, and VOILA, they are eating meat!!!

i just realized i have been referring to our new director as "sausage" in regular conversation. She is about a size 16 stuffed into a size 10. she is more backstabby, and under the bus throwing of her employees than the old director. well before she was in charge of our group she blocked me out of a conversation about bikes with someone above her so she could talk about how good she was doing in her group.

our old director (the one who has been trying to fire me) can't stand her either and makes the same complaints about sausage as we all make about old director.
this is funny to me.
