Sometimes...a piece of dirt can get between the slider and seal lip and can be removed by pulling the dust seal down and sliding a business card in there and dislodging it.

Exposed fork legs look shiny as new.... and since both sides are leaking, I'm thinking more deterioration from lack of use than dirt trapped between seals in both legs.   But you're right, it is worth seeing if the seals recover with use.

Almost.  Just need to get one in the garage that is in my name so I can ride again and post about tanks and fuel lines and forks and....stuff.

Which means I need to get productive!
