What's taking you so long on that Ford?

the upper arms were so shot that the bushings have made an oval out the screw holes so now a little welding is taking place . . . the owner didn't know why the car was not 'taking' aligment now he knows . .  this is moving back delivery to Tuesday . . .so a $420 job just turned into a $950 job . . . the 'parts changer' before me seems was only interested in 'in with the job and money/otu with car' . . .

seems so . . . how, me dunno . . . rods, were also shot . .. according to owner he replaced the upper arms and lower balls joints 9 months ago  . .. he says that boat hauling and bad roads . . . i took pics and sent to him . ..  those parts were never changed . .  never seen an aftermarket replacemnet with a Ford brand logo stamped on it and OEM numbers too !!

talk laterz gotta go check welding . . .we are using a rod barely 0.5mm larger than the screw to weld on the outside and inside a washer to have a round hole again on all 4 upper arms supports . . .

now, I get this p'up the 04 Explorer and 03 LR Discovery into my care . . .now, gotta sell him a bike . . .

don't worry, I always disconnect the battery, since it has electric locks . . . it has already happen someone closes door and keys inside . . . now, while working keys are one driver's side wiper, batt desconnected . .

evening btw,  .. .. got home about 20 mins ago . ..  friggin tiwed !!! time for beer and something to dine !!! home alone with dogs . ..

tomorrow gotta continue working on p'up and work on house car, replace rotors and pads and yes. bleed system . . .
