Dark.  As in the the day has not yet dawned.  Not so bad....

... but dark on many levels?

Not so good :-\.

On a boozaholic note:  I found a happy way to enjoy whiskey.  Me likey mixed with dry ginger   [beer].

the idea of drinking a snifter of whiskey is appealing to me
