You know.... the truthful answer is this:  I dont exactly know.

Only time the TV gets turned on is for sport, I never watch TV news and since I'm on holidays I'm not in the car listening to the radio either.  My current affairs intake is... limited to say the least. 

I'm aware there are fires ongoing (its summer, so unfortunately its par for the course)...... but I dont smell any smoke.

Dreary today but 70ºF here in the NC mountains in January.  Normally in January we barely see temps above freezing.

We're going to take the SKS to the range for some fun.  C has never fired a rifle before.

Yep still plenty of fires around the place, no floods in Queensland (yet!), hardly any rain over the last few months, the ground is as dry as toast.
