Not a bad view from the (mobile) office window on top of the mount behind the Gold Coast this morning, a nice clear view down to the coast. A quiet day of calibrating instruments and site inspections. Almost relaxing after last week's storm and flood mayhem.

I didn't get to but a tiny bit of the Gold Coast when I was there.  I made it to Cannes for some reef time.

Evening.  Cold and no longer snowy.

evening . . . I'm alive!!!!

replaced the alternator/water pump belt on the Suzuki, somehow discovered a minuscule water leak that was dropping exactly on said belt, now I now why it didn't last 2 months !!!

made appointment at dealer, 19 Feb, to replace water pump and timing chain . . .

light dinner, a "hot dog", the sausage split in half lenghtwise, grilled, on the bun, toasted on both sides on the grill, some edamer, muenster, mozarella and parmessan cheeses with tomato sauce[spaghetti type] and to sprinkle some celery and basil . . . to drink, a glass of whole milk . . . ;D

MrI calls it a "paint booth" i call it a murder shack.

plastic walls all sealed off so nothing can splatter out...
