It is... quiet. 

Quiet is good, but its too quiet. 

The Gulag Commandant will start directing the guards to get me to dig holes and then pour the salt from hole A back into hole B unless I can come up with a more convincing "looking busy" facade soon  [laugh].

Quiet here too, after the initial flurry of activity( ie getting out of bed). Today I get to stand by and watch someone else do all the work, apparently I'm needed just in case something goes pear shaped. (11000 volts, several megalitres of water, major infrastructure project, what could possibly go wrong?)
Maybe I'm really here cos if the ship hits the land they'll have someone to blame, but that could just be me and my cynical attitude.

Check out some of the bathurst videos from the 70's. That's one scary track in a car that doesn't brake or go 'round corners very well.

Cheers Ung, tell me this though, how come there aren't as many glasses in a bottle of wine any more?
A nice Sauv Blanc by the way, just right for a warm humid evening sitting on the verandah listening to the bats and possums fight over palm fruits.

Thats the diff between QLD and VIC (one of, anyway  ;))..... by this time of year we still get warm summer days - gonna be a beautiful w/e coming up - but once the sun goes down it can get pretty cool, just 14 outside right now.  But not too cold for  [drink]
