I am very concerned about the welfare of that earthworm in the beak of that robin outside.

Circle of life.

In other news...

A few months behind on a lot of stuff, but just finished episode 2 of House of Cards. [thumbsup]  I think I will keep Netflix for another month.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

How did the date go?

It went well.

So well, in fact that she called (texted) me for Round 2 this afternoon - a little shootin' before she had to go to work.

Took my 12ga. and 21.  She is now convinced that a 12ga would not be a practical home defense tool for her.

She also tried a a Glock 26 & 30.  Looked at the S&W Bodyguard - which I still think would be the perfect CCW for her.  (she did like it.)

Also saw one of the Colt's that I have been looking for...  Just not for what they were asking for it.

I got rid of my guns. I just have a 30-06 Remington in case i decide to try to get an elk.
For home defense I have a sharp machete.

Welcome home.

Things down here are a bit cool, but I'm too lazy to do anything about it tonight.

Had a great day of dirty  [Dolph] yesterday.  Left home at 7am and returned at 6pm just before dark.  Just as well I was standing up much of the time or my arse woulda been sorrier  8).

Hard to believe...eh? :P

I had to light a fire when we got home. It was warm outside, but the house was cold. It's only 38 here now.

Sounds like a fun day. Did you ride alone?

Nope.  Me and four other old blokes  8).

Three of us are pretty adventurous/stupid,  but at one particular steep descent we agreed to turn around in deference to the... um.... sensible pair.

Only two of us fell off during the day.  You can guess which two.
