Maybe they decided it wasn't going to workout, since all the dogs were pretty restless.

They usually stay at B's ex (mom's), who has 3 dogs of her own.

Guess I shouldn't worry about it too much.   :-\

Good Morning to you.

So they arrived in the middle of the night and the dog whined, so they left? That's kinda weird (borderline rude), no note, no toilet paper in the tree?

Nope, no note.  Nothing.

I hear you on the fuel consumption!  Running around town, I usually only get 12MPG or so.  Then again, I drive a "midsize" truck that weighs 4400lbs.

Have not heard from the disappearing guests.   :-\

Went and looked at a country house. Meh, sort of feel indifferent about it.

That's how I feel.

B wasn't really that surprised.  I guess I was brought up different.

We finally heard from them and they are not coming back tonight.

Time for a  [drink].

And everyone needs to send lots of good thoughts Stella and Randimus' way.  Little Oliver is very sick, and in surgery.   :(

Randimus Maximus

Little Oliver is out of surgery, but not out of the woods.

No blockage in his stomach or intestines.

Looks like pancreatitis, but won't know for sure for a few days.  Not sure of the cause, either.

We are just now transferring him to an emergency vet, for overnight observation, IVs, etc.

We're thankful for our wonderful vets who were able to see him today.  As well as for all of your thoughts, good vibes & messages.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Best wishes for little Oliver . . . know how it feels to have a little one sick . . .

Evening btw

M620's CF parts, most of them, taken out, tomorrow will finish taking of front and rear fenders and the side covers . . .

SO treated me lunch, I had a mixed grill bbq plate with baked potato and salad, she had a Ceasar salad w/shrimp . . .

Now, watching Top Gear, UK version, after it, Dr. Who
