I guess the day isn't a total loss.

I fixed the oven.

First day back to work lasted until 12:30pm central time. Fortunately, that's what time the office closed today. Now I get to enjoy a stiff drink and a pain killer. Yay!

In hindsight...

it was a bit humorous.

I was out in the barn screwing with the generator and T came out asking for the flashlight.

I asked why...

she said 'because things are blowing up in the living room'.

I came in and smoke was just pouring out of the computer.

I said 'it's on fire'...and started pulling cables off the back.

I guess we were lucky.

My home for the next few months (working that is, not as a patient) commissioning the energy management controls system.
For those that are interested-Tri-generation plant including two absorption chillers, 6 centrifugal chillers, 5 Mw of generators, 6 boilers, all feeding 3 seperate buildings. Hospital, admin and research facility.

Tri-Generation Plant: 4.8MW
Standby Power Plant: Up to 12MW
Chilled Water Plant: Up to 20MW
Heating Hot Water: Up to 5.5MW
Steam: Up to 2000kg/hr

tomorrow I will pick up DDE's chief instructor and then take him to dinner . . . have all 4 demo bikes ready and filled up [well bout half a tank] . . .

tomorrow I start with the other 7 . . . just for show . . .

I am taking it easy just doing my 8hrs/day . . .
