Indeed I do see I've missed nothing. Which is why its OK to skip 50 pages of tosat.

Its like the movie Groundhog Day. Every morning, same posts (mostly) :)

Morning.  Actually got to go to school for two days so far this week.  Me missed all but Monday last week due to two inches of snow then sub-zero temps that make cleanup impossible with our limited equipment.

Morning all. The coffee is ready here. You could have called me Stella!

I was up at around 0300. Stayed in bed hoping to sleep more. Finally fell back to slumber land at about 0530 and then awake at 7.

Things to do today will keep me out of trouble and awake.  I did go to a bead store yesterday to have something repaired and they charged me 27 cents!

Went to bed at midnight and woke up at 3:30, tried to go back asleep but failed.  Now my other pilot is out flying the flight I should have flown.  He seems to be having a great time also asI can see him from my office window.  Grrrr.  More coffee NOW!

Then off to annual my other balloon.  Oh and then when I get home I can re-install my shiny Ohlins shock with the Black spring.  That is all.
Two things I don't do.  Keyboard bullies and hypocrites.
Feel free to PM me if needed, otherwise you will find me elsewhere.

sometimes it's good to have employees.

Is the annual all you have to do? Is there a certification by an official?

Had you actually read it all you would know why and how the donkey got stuck in there.

Balloons have N-Numbers so every 100 hours or one year (whichever comes first) it goes to an FAA approved repair loft where a tech goes over every single stitch, changes all the O-rings, inspects tanks, burners, fuel lines and wicker.  Then tear tests each of the various colors for strength. It takes a couple of days on the larger balloons.

It is cheaper to do the 7500 miles service on a Duc.....  Worst of all you never get the total amount it cost until you go to pick it up.  I have annuals that cost 700.00 and annuals that cost 5k.  It is like Anti-Christmas.....  Probably why I did not sleep much lol.

100 hrs?

Are the requirements the same for commercial airliners? It seems they'd spend more time in inspection than in the air.
