With the wind as it was on Sunday.... there was never any threat for us....  the Madalya fire started too close by... but the wind pushed it rapidly away from us into the State forest....   had the wind been blowin' that hard from the opposite direction...  we coulda been in some bother.

Still going... but no threat.... except to the forest where I like to ride the DR.. 

If the CFA are done by the weekend.... I'll go take a ride to see how bad it got....  but they'll probably still be mopping up and have roads closed... in which case I'll stay out of their way.
