Guess I wont be riding anywhere near this weekend.  Other danger issue is that burned trees fall over... so it's not real safe even after the fire is out.

I decided to crate the doberman up and ship him to you ung. You can do the tail chop and clip the ears. No more dogs for me. After this one gets old and dies thats it.

Woke up to 9" of snow.  More in the forecast Friday.  Time to get the shovel out! 

They finally called school off for today yesterday.  They did wait until we had about 4" of snow to make the decision...

Drove the whole way to work for the VP to come around and tell everybody to go home.

I think we have about 10" so far but its hard to tell with the wind.

I put on a zip up hoodie, sandals and pajamas and went for a walk in the hills behind this place.



These cactus are kind of cool looking. I saw some large Jack Rabbits and a Road Runner (the bird) after getting up on the ridge you can see most of the city and the airport down below. The airplanes climb to 2000 feet or so and then hang there for a minute until Departure control gives them a new heading and order to climb to a different altitude.

49 and windy here. There are little white caps on the bay.

Lucy wanted out at 0218. It took me a good 3 hours to get back to sleep, then up at 8. 
         
I have been off the sleeping pill since just after the new year. Could have used it last night.
