It was pretty special.

The attendees all liked it.

No one drank the champagne. [laugh]

Are there many wineries on your side of the US?

Yes.  Some north a few miles on the Niagara Wine Trial and lots of vineyards around the Finger Lakes in Central NY.

If we cross the border into Canada, there are all the vineyard in Niagara on the Lake.

Lots of local breweries too and a couple distilleries.

In short, no shortage of local booze.

What part of Aus are you in?  We are quite fond of some of wines coming out of the McLaren and Barrosa Valleys.

Lots of good wine near me too! And WA has tons of local brewery's. We even have a booming craft distiller movement going on.

Making homemade lasagna tonight.   [wine]

About 600 miles from our favourite winery in the hunter valey...

LMT - Will probably be up your way on our trip, so will try some local wine while there...

It became the topic of a proposed trans-continental pipeline for a while.

Not sure if we could make that international, although I could see the benefits of such a thing.

Maybe we could petition Elon Musk to help us.  He seems to think big.

There is a decent wine scene in Western Colorado and Southern New Mexico, in addition to California, Oregon, Washington, and so on.  Seems like everyone is doing it these days.  Aussie wines are good, though.  [thumbsup]

Scoober1103

Unfortunately our local vineyard only produces horsepiss which is strange as I have never seen any stables!

Looks pretty and puts on some good music at a price.
