went to "one of the best steak houses in town" . . . beast with two backs, hard chewy piece of meat . . . and a potatoe that looked more than like a mini scoop of ice cream than a potatoe . . .all these for COP48984

Not well...at all.

The acid stain didn't seem to take in many places and where it did it doesn't look like it should.

I think I need to start over.

Sand the floor...get more materials and try again.

Isn't the first time I painted something more than once because I wasn't happy with the result.

Kinda sucks. Oh well...life goes on.

Could be a couple things...

Could be the slab is too 'tight' from power troweling, or it could be applicator error.

I used a different color in the closets and bathroom and put it on a lot heavier...way heavier than recommended...and it seemed to take and looked like I think it should.

I think if I scuff off the bulk of what seems to be sitting on the surface and scuff off some of the top skin of the concrete to open the pores it will work.

I'm pretty used to the leaning curve with new materials...it's a fact of life.

The issue is the kitchen cabinets are due at the end of the month and I need to have the floor done.

Speaking of new tech my solar was installed yesterday and just have to wait for our electricity provider to instal a new meter before we can turn it on!

5.2 years if the government don't mess with the feed in tariffs. Its a 5.2kw system which we can expand on in the future if need to.
