Plenty of grazing land on the south american continent......reasonably priced too. Farmers here were selling up and moving to Argentina and buying large parcels of land to run stock on. Mrs Scoob says it's a bit more forgiving in that respect!

I don't have any first hand experience with the countries to the north. Only landholders I used to liaise with that were selling up to set up shop in Argentina in particular. My wife's family are from Argentina (and have moved back).

They fled the country 35 odd years ago due to corruption and poverty but have decided in retirement their money will go a lot further in Argentina. Plus they miss their culture.......and beef strangely enough! Asado.....

I've visited Argentina.  Liked it a lot....  the country is not that different to Australia (down south is much more mountainous though).. the disparity between wealth and poverty is an eye opener however.  And stuff doesnt work as it should, not much urgency in fixing anything... 

In retirement their money will go a lot further in Argentina than here.  It's a plan I've considered too..........

Probably getting a little too close to breaching rules about no politics here... so enough said.
