Evening Ducatters  [drink]

How's this for amusing.   Its always nice to get a new car.  I got an email today from Salt Mine HQ... telling me that my brand new Ford Mondeo will be available for collection on....  Monday May 19th.

The very same Monday the 19th that I'm hoping to be starting my new job  [bang]

Soooo.. if they decline to let me out early.....  I'll spend most of that Monday swapping my current car for the new one....

which I'll then drive for 9 other days... before I hand it back  [bang]

Please, just keep your nice new car for the next guy.... and let me goooooooooooooooooooo

I'll flog the living shit out of it if they make me stick around.  Oh.... wait.... I do that anyway...  [laugh]

Friday.  Should have ridden, but have to get some things at the local Lowes store.  It's hard to carry more than a few landscape timbers on the Hawk.  I not sure how many I can actually get in my truck, but I'm willing to bet it's more than I want to load!

My company car seats 68 and it still gets flogged.

I'm going to build my finishers for the hardwood flooring and get them installed...hopefully...so I can sand it starting Monday.

I slept in! Got up and turned the alarm off at 0500 and then got up for real at 0548. That is the latest I have slept in weeks.
