I do like the Camel (and the Hefferlump)...  I just don't think I'd genuinely like to own one of 'em.  Dual sport bikes IMO have got to be two things (no shit I hear you all say):

Reliable.
Breakable (as in no tears shed).

The XL (Honda XL650L) is a good bike.  If you can find the R (XL650R) version with a title, it's a much more capable bike.

My reasons for old dualies are for holiday/trail bike fun. I wouldn't do dirt seriously since I'm so fragile now days.

That is why I don't have a CR500 or a KX500.  My wife doesn't want to pick me out of a tree.
