My dad has a first gen Mazda miata. No power but damn if it doesn't stick to the road like a gecko. Manual w short shifter, too.  Sooooo much fun. Almost as much fun as a duc, but not quite. ;D

Yea, that's about where this car is.  So much fun to drive it should be illegal.  It makes more torque than horsepower, so a little attention to the revs and it zips right along.

For a short time I owned a Miata . . . it had the short shifter installed by me and upgraded suspension . ..  took it to a shop to have it "re-sprayed" and a fire in the adjacent factory took its toll on the body shop . .. insurance paid and then I got my Peugeot 405 Mi16 . . .

It had the short ratio tranny with 4.10 diff, 35PIN Gr. N ECU and Asphalt Peugeot Sport Suspension . . . I used to eat Civics and Corollas AE86 for appetizer and a few BMW up to 323i . ..  It did have about 185CV but, the handling was phenomenal . . . intake valve opening of 13mm with 45mm diameter . ..  cam overlap was, if my mind doesn't play tricks on me, 264° . . . very very lumpy idle

Wow, I didn't know they were here.  I can count on one hand the number of Peugeots I've even seen!

Sorry to hear you didn't get the system you wanted.

Howdy all. Went to dinner with a younger friend. I am so glad that I am 50 and not 21.  My troubles are big, at least I know how to deal with them.  My friend has boy friend, work, and parent troubles.  Makes my situation seem doable.

Off to bubble while I can. 2 places I have looked at to move to do not have bath tubs  :o

EverNing.

Yes, Mary, experience is a good friend.

So is [drink]
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

That it is! I do not have to work a full day tomorrow. Get to sleep in (like that will really happen), go in late, and leave early  [thumbsup]

My plan is have another beer, watch some Kyle XY on Netflix, walk the dog and then go to bed!
