It's certainly not urgent, but the stained covers are starting to grate on me. I've got some time off in a few weeks, so it'd be good to get it done then.

Clutch cover also needs painting.

VHT silver/alloy/grey for the clutch cover, but I went black.

I started in the mid 70's after the family business went under.

Stopped for a while...84-88...and for a couple of years after I left the fab shop in '02 to pull wire.

Haven't done much for the past year or so.

That was the most dangerous job I've ever had...

more so than all the chemical exposure from painting.

I worked in sawmills that were operating...whirling death everywhere...underneath the buckets of excavators in a trench...

and crawling through the rafters of unfinished buildings...40 feet above the deck.

The most wire I ever pulled in one building was 14K feet. I was an 'apprentice' and was doing the job by myself.

I have no clue what my boss did other than laying out the job and cutting in the panel...

and paying me, which was all I cared about.

I was in armed security for a dodgy co once, and was unpleasantly surprised to find out the "armoured" trucks we were using were ex laundry trucks! Wouldn't have stopped a make the beast with two backsing BB gun/air rifle.
