I was at happy hour with my 4 (plus one husband)  best friends. I was very sneaky and paid for us all.  They have all covered the bill for me many times over the past 2 years. I never left the table and pulled it off! My bar tender and I have a way.

so, this happened at the "dinner-party". . . husband of one of my wife's coworkers shows up, stating in a loud voice he's being calling his wife and she don't answer . . . things escalate and suddenly my right hand is finding his left side of the face/jaw . . . plus I was CCW . . . he stands up and apologizes for the show he has just given, apologizes to his wife and leaves . . . now this coworker is afraid to go home . . .

I have indeed noticed that my patience with people since a while back is, wait, did I say patience? which patience? I am that volatile, too much work? the MTS1200? the customer who wants brake pads replaced under warranty because they squeal[remember our weather]? too much to worry about my grandmother? Actually not having anything to do after Nov 16th? I am just stressed out to a point where it will only leave in a violent way . . . Not even riding is "calming" me down . . .

Good to hear you had a chance to share a   with some friends Mary....and good you had your "repay" all sorted.....

Carlos - I have nothing much to add for you. Apart from maybe you do need that change. At least that is already in motion.
Finding patience is not something that is easy.....
Maybe doing a Buteyko breathing course or the like may help?
When you start to get worked up stop and breathe.....Easier to say than do if you are volatile.
Finding some happiness to focus on is also a good start....
