All that cubby painting beat you up?

Im trying to build a checkout counter for the store. I have hardly any idea what I'm doing.  :P

It's much more than a song...

And can you, can you imagine fifty people a day, I said
Fifty people a day walking in singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and
Walking out. And friends they may thinks it's a movement

And that's what it is , the Alice's Restaurant Anti-Massacree Movement, and
All you got to do to join is sing it the next time it come's around on the
Guitar

Yea I forgot about that part. In another 40 years or so it should reach point of critical mass, but so far it's off to a good start.  ;)

Crouching Tiger, hidden paint brush.........thats sounds wrong!  ;D

Finished it and at present it is under the patio on the ground so a lot of bending and crouching. Looks good though!

Make it a little lower than waist high.

That's three feet or a 1/2 inch higher than the countertops i have in the kitchen on me.
I'm done for today but will get back to it tomorrow.

Edit: Bose is always wanting me to buy something else...

Edit again: I have 4 7's  :)

Counter height in my house is 3'.

Seems like a pretty decent height.

I have all these Redwood fence boards I'm going to use at least for the front, and maybe the top. Haven't really figured that part out yet.

Speeddog

If'n you've got little old ladies shopping there, they might like it a little lower.

I'd go something smooth on the top, so bags and such can slide easily.
And I've been told redwood splinters are nasty....

Can't be any worse than PT.

The tropical wood flooring I used was nasty as a splinter too.
