Morning.

Found a book from 1987 in our school library called "Dream Bikes."  Interesting to see what was "Awesome" technology from then.  It was touting the Vmax as the "Ultimate muscle bike."

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I've ridden two of them.

Roughly equivalent to late 60's muscle cars.
Heavy, haul ass in a straight line, and not go around corners very well.
At least the brakes were good.
When accelerating really hard, the shaft drive would pin the rear suspension fully extended.
So unless the pavement was really smooth, you got the feeling it was just looking for the best spot to throw you on the ground.

I'm starting to weld the table. This cheap little welder sucks but I think I can get it done. One of these days I might invest in a decent one. I believe I paid around $125 Brand new for the thing at one of those tool shows that come around. Again you get what you pay for. It's a 125V welder and I'm not getting much penetration even on the highest heat setting, but I am getting some..

That yellow thing is a 90/45 magnetic square that turns on & off with the red switch. It's pretty cool.
