Well...
Well...  Looks like I won't be riding this weekend much.

Winter Storm Warning
Statement as of 10:44 AM EDT on October 31, 2014

...Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 8 PM this evening to 8 PM EDT Saturday...

* locations...North Carolina mountain counties along the Tennessee border from Avery to Swain.

* Hazards...heavy snowfall.

* Timing...rain will change over to snow tonight with snow levels dropping to the valley floors by daybreak on Saturday. Numerous snow showers will likely linger through the day on Saturday...before tapering off early Saturday evening.

* Accumulations...snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches...perhaps as much as 10 inches on west facing peaks above 4000 feet and along the immediate Tennessee border.

* Impacts...the heavy wet snow combined with windy conditions could produce isolated tree and power line damage. Road surfaces may see slightly less snow accumulation...but bridges and overpasses will likely remain snow covered and icy.

* Temperatures...in the upper 20s tonight and low to mid 30s Saturday.

* Winds...northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency Friday night and Saturday. If you must travel...keep an extra flashlight... food...and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

Owned my own gig for many years.  Nothing could get me to work a "regular" job.  It does take a certain kind of person tto do it though as the road is not as easy as just getting up each day and getting a paycheck.  However, I do get to do what I want when I want most of the time so no real complaints.

Next year my gig will be worse than a full time job as we are starting a new multi million dollar company.  It will have officers and responsibilities that will probably exceed the 40 hour work week most people put in.  Upside is that retirement will happen five years later.

I had a 5 meat 3 cheese 8" sub

somewhere between good and OK . . . it lacked some flavour . . . I know that some cheeses are strong but the taste of mozzarella over edamer and provolone made it almost a "1 cheese" sammich..... the cramelized onions and mushrooms were good

I like fresh crunchy onions on things, but thats me. When I make Pizza I like to put raw Tomato slices on top after it has come out of the oven.

I should make Pizza tonight.
