It is a nice red. Thanks for asking  :)  Trying to unwind from a long week.

Looking forward to a short work day and the weekend. I need to cook up a storm and have some dishes ready in the freezer.  First I need to buy a microwave. I am finding it hard to reheat leftovers.

Good it is nice and not the only bottle left because it could be used as a vinegarete  [thumbsup]

I have had a few weeks of 55+ hours so the whiskey has had a workout...enjoying this time off.

Evening.

A mate and I changed the fuel filter tonight. Straight forward enough thanks to a few manuals and 'how to' write ups here and there. Bit fiddly though. My buddy Adrian has much thinner hands than I do, so he was a handy (pardon the pun) bloke to have helping.

The top two venting, spillage hoses were a little worst for wear, but we managed to get them back on okay. Next time I'll replace those. It appears over a few fuel filter changes, they've lost a few cm off the end due to perishing. This will be the last time they'll go round I'd say.

2001 Ducati  Monster 900S ie
JE high comp pistons, bit of porting, open airbox with DP filter, PC3 with custom map, CCW matched injectors, Termignoni cf slip ons, 14:39 gearing.

Gone but not forgotten!
Honda VFR800i, Honda CBR600F3, Honda CBX750, Norton Commando 750S, Suzuki GS750, Yamaha XT250, Kawasaki Z250, Kawasaki KX80, Honda XL250, Suzuki TC100.

Not uncommon for those two hoses to get shorter over time. ;D

They're quite thin, so I can see how they'd perish where they're clamped.

Good to get them back on this time though! Phew!
