YES, until tomorrow when hopefully a furniture store opens tomorrow . ..I cannot even do 3 steps on the stairs and now I cannot get up

I'm an engineer and I'm here to help.

First, we need to roll Carlos onto an air mattress, then, flood the house until he makes it upstairs.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Here's the plan...
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I have been belly laughing reading the banter about Carlos' 'recovery' 'meds' 'making money on his back' and the 'broken bed'!

Seriously funny! Haven't laughed so hard in quite a while. Just what I needed!

Thanks Carlos, thanks all!

robo call at 5:40.

I guess things are a bit chilly so they're delaying school until 9:30

You would think 6.30 would be early enough for a call...

Evening all.
Out of my Christmas Pinot and beers.
Bugger.

Weather is settling into the 70s for a few days before rising back up into the 80s and 90s later this week.

The bus picks the kids that live across the road at 6:30. School starts at 7:30.

It is pretty nasty out...-5 with -31 WC...but I don't think a couple hours will bring much improvement

I ride at 0 of ours if its dry with good gear, so as long as it's dry it's potentially all year round riding. Some mates ride dirt in winter/spring and road in summer/fall. All this time I've never asked you, but how many months a year can you road ride?

It kind of depends on how dedicated you are. It can snow in New Hampshire almost anytime. :P

If we have an early spring with plenty of rain to wash the sand and salt from the roads I would take my first ride mid-April.

It starts snowing again, and gets pretty cool for riding, by September/October so again, it really depends on the roads. The last ride is usually our Columbus Day...or earlier.

I don't like coming around a corner and finding the road suddenly covered with sand.
