I have a feeling about this year.

I'm considering it-torn on bringing the whole gang. It's rough on the kids, and I hate the thought of bringing them through airport security.

P and I are still tired of travel-we may have taken a plane ride or two way too often.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

....the plane ride itself isn't the problem.  Its all the associated naffness that becomes so bloody tedious  :-\.

I dont mind a long flight - once we're actually airborne.  Not too often I get hours.... to just sit.... snooze and kick-back (against the seat in front of me  [laugh]).  It's good hibernation time.

Totally different story traveling with little ones though.

Winter here is...interesting... dark at 6:45 am...dark at 4:00pm.

I remember the first time I went to Michigan in the summer.

It doesn't get dark there until 10 pm because it's so close to the western edge of the time zone.

Takes some getting used to.

Light until 9-9.30pm in summer here

Dark by.... 5.30pm middle o' winter

I spent a summer in northern Sweden.... still drinking at 4:30am.. no darkness to give any "signals".... just kinda gets dusky... and then half hour later the sun is coming up again.  Not that it had far to return from.

Thats make the beast with two backsin' weird. In a good way  [evil]

On the flip side - NFHE - winter up there is semi-permanent -45C suicidal darkness....  I couldnt handle that  :-\
