I'll make a decision about whether to repair it or part it out and get something else later. It's not gonna get fixed this year. I'll probably sell the tires I bought so they won't be an extra year old if I keep the bike.

and on another more positive note there's nothing wrong with the water line. A piece of gravel and some sand must have been in the line and clogged the spigot.
