Been Busy with a remodel and some Assanine attorneys & their warped client.

Last night at 3:30 the Mountain lion had my dog. Had her by the neck. It was about 5 feet from the front door of the place I stay at when I come down to Cal to see my Dad.

So I yelled HEY!!!! and ran down the steps toward it, naked as Adam, and it bolted. The dog got off with some penetrating fang bites.
We have the guns out. This thing was about twice the size of my yellow lab and probably weighed about 120.

She woke me up and wanted to go out. I figured she had an urgent need. About 20 min later came the attack.

Hope you pup heals up OK Dave.

Stella's Oliver Bacon went in for emergency surgery yesterday.  Hope he heals up too.

Thank the gods Lucy is fine.

I left the house at 0630 and got home at just past 1830. Long days. Too many in the past few weeks. I have not been feeling well for a while now and could really use a rest.

My boss thinks I am some sort of super canary. Like a canary in the coal mine. After the new overlord training session that started at 1630 she did say I was the canary in the mine. More like super canary. If I drop from too much work the others will be long gone.
