Funny about the birds...  I've got a 4AM Mockingbird.  I'm tempted to let the half wildcat cat out in an attempt to quell the bird.  He might not come back though and he's special with his eight toes and all.

Eating some [bacon] eggs and [coffee] since I'm going truck shopping.

I never counted a cats toes. Is that all they have? What about the al part you speak of?

Not your average cat paw.  Most have four toes.  He has 7 forward plus a dew claw like a dog.  He's a very special Hemingway cat.  You can't see them all in the pic, but he looks like he's wearing a catcher's mitt his paw is so big.

One front has seven, the other eight.  The back feet are normal aside from both having dew claws like a dog.  The father of this cat was some kind of wildcat from the best we can tell.

No, mice, birds etc. No chance at all.
