I need a backsplash behind the cooktop.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Maybe, but it wouldn't help the grease splatter on the drywall much.

morning . . .

stayed home, sent the missus alone to work . . . I explained to her that if I drive her to work and drive to pick her up, we spend $6.00/day more in tolls that amount to $30/week that amounts to $120/month. ..  this, not taking into consideration when we must deviate from route to go to butcher or supermarket[the one I prefer] or weekend trips . . . This toll highway is about 8mls long[the part we travel] and costs $2.40 either way and each exit in between $0.75 . . . NO, she isn't happy about the decision . . .
