Ning.  [coffee] [coffee] [coffee]

Had the final sitting for my new tattoo yesterday. The color went in. I will post up a photo when the healing process is a little further along. Ended up sitting 3 times for a total of just under 8 hours!

MendoDave

Thats 8 hours that could have been spent watching TV.  [cheeky]

I took a couple of old weathered and blacked Redwood fence boards over to a friends house and had him run it through his planer. They came out just beautiful. We decided to run them through the joiner as well, so they are sitting in clamps right now while the glue sets. This will be a functional trim piece for the "Barn door" type of sliding door I'm hanging on the bathroom entry. I have a few more that I will either make into baseboards or make an actual door out of for the bedroom door.

Back to work.

Stella

Some days your the dog, some days the fire hydrant.

Today = dog.  (Not taking "no" for an answer today.)

[evil]

Nearly straight up ning here.  Salad for lunch, angel food cake in the oven, with a side pile of dog shit in the living room to clean up with the dishes (no thanks to Thing 2 â€" he NEVER does that unless it's -20 below outside).

Otherwise typical dysfunctional day at the office.

Ouch!  That sucks...

'Ning all.  Survived another quarterly review meeting this morning with all the corporate types in attendance.  I have little to concern myself with since all my departments are again in the black and prospering.  Still dislike them severely.

Got the high-comp pistons in the 748s a couple weeks ago, brakes upgraded, new chain sprockets on a new ratio, betting looking body panels and a host of other new farkles...

Rode it once.  And now I'm hearing noises from the alternator cover and it's a b*tch to down-shift.  Yay.  I get the joys of going back into the bike...again...for stooped shyte.  [roll]

I think I've put 100 miles on it this past year where I've been completely confident and happy with it.

Can't wait to see the new ink LMT!

Nah.  "Hon-Stew" just doesn't have a ring to it.

Yanno, they don't do much for me on a visceral level but....

....you can drag one out of the woods, toss in some fresh fuel and a new battery and it'll probably start. There's something to be said for that.
