Sewing, woodworking, welding....   Oh and cooking beyond survival skills.

All things I'd like to learn someday. 



In the meantime, headed to the office kitchen to go warm up some homemade butternut squash soup and a cup of coffee for breakfast.

After basic training - in tech school- we learned how to sew, take the machines apart and put them back together - blindfolded!



I should send you my flight jacket. It needs a new hem sown in.

I might have to send her a sewing machine first.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Parachute shop duties included repair of flight suits and jackets. I got really good at replacing arm cuffs on the old brown leather flight jackets.

I have not touched a sewing machine in many years.
